Unnatural Acts #5: Noobship of Death!

It's no secret that I love my Gallente ships. Even their noob ship is awesome. Behold, the fearsome Velator of death!

No tank - 864 EHP. If anything hits this, it's dead. Speed is 906 meters per second, so it's zippy, sort of. 172 DPS - not bad for a little noobship, eh?

Now, imagine about 200 of these in a blob. Of course, one well-placed smartbomb and they all pop.

But the lulz... oh, the lulz!

Unnatural Acts #4: Battle Mack!

I've haven't flown this fit - yet. But with the announced changes to ice mining coming in the Odyssey expansion, I'm wondering how this might fare in one of the new ice belt anomalies...

EHP is 27,676 - resists are 66/63/72/77. Drone volley damage is a substantial 913 DPS. Against a typical Catalyst gank destroyer fit, this little beast would have a decent chance of coming out on top, provided that the ganker got in close. Very limited range of effectiveness and no maneuverability are the obvious weaknesses - but for a surprise LOLfit, it might just work.

Flying this thing would be a lot like fishing in Real Life, though. I'd have to sit in the belt, pretending to be AFK, not moving, perhaps for hours - just waiting for a ganker to take the bait. Talk about boring. And I hate fishing.

But that'd be a sweet killmail, would it not?

Unnatural Acts #3: Itty Bitty Battleron

Behold, the Gallente version of the vaunted Battle Badger! Oh, how much do I want to take this out and slowboat it in an asteroid belt while war targets are in system? Soooo much, I do...

Yeah, it's dumb - really dumb. But the lulz factor alone makes it worth gambling. If nothing else, it's an interesting bait ship, albeit almost certainly short-lived.

With 11,339 EHP, and resists at 68/59/59/58, it carries a decent tank. There's certainly no problem hauling enough nanite repair paste for the ancillary repper, not to mention a lot of extra ammo, which will be necessary since the lone blaster only provides 50 DPS.

You could replace the neut with a small plasma smartbomb if you plan on taking this to lowsec or 0.0, for a just a bit more DPS.

With the dual cap boosters, it's cap stable and relatively neut proof. And it travels at 344 meters/second - not super-fast, but a lot quicker than an enemy might expect from a big tube indy.

Yeah, it's dumb - really dumb.  Did I say that already? But I soooo want to fly it. War targets, beware!
